Cornish Crosser Chickens Arrive with BIG PROBLEMS

I just got my order of 18 cornish cross chicks from Hoovers Hatchery. Unfortunately, there was one dead chick upon arrival and 1 injured chick with a leg issue and wound. This injured chick was a lot smaller than the others and after doing some research learned that it most likely arrived with an undeveloped leg from incubation. Stay tuned as I raise these cornish crossers on our urban homestead. Next week I will be building a new chicken coop for them and transitioning them outside as soon as they are ready.
