ROPE Report Re-Play - Attorney Maria Seidler - ROPE's Lawsuit Against Stillwater Public Schools

May 4th of last year, ROPE and Stillwater, Oklahoma father and community member, Brice Chaffin, sued Stillwater Public Schools for forcibly removing Chaffin from the microphone at an SPS public board meeting after reading scripture as a way of expressing his objection to the SPS policy of allowing boys who identify as girls to use the girl's restroom. ROPE/Chaffin are not asking for any monetary compensation as a result of the lawsuit, but a simple public APOLOGY to be made to Chaffin and Stillwater taxpayers. Instead, SPS has used taxpayer funded attorneys to fight us in court on four separate occasions. As of today (11/23) ROPE and Chaffin are still fighting for his right to speak freely using scripture - according to the Oklahoma Religious Freedom Act - this time as an appeal to the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
