Scaredy-shroom seeds were offered from November 22, 2023 through November 29, 2023.

Scaredy-shroom is a member of the Ail-Mint family.
Scaredy-shroom costs 25 Sun.
Scaredy-shroom fires spores which have full range and do 20 damage. (+10 damage per level.)
Scaredy-shroom hides when a zombie gets within a 3x3 area around it.
Scaredy-shroom gains 40% damage reduction while in this state.
When given plant food, Scaredy-shroom will activate all Scaredy-shrooms in a 3x3 area around it.
Plant food activation gives Scaredy-shroom knock-back capability.

Commentary:
While not as brave as the humble Peashooter, all the statistics are same with Peashooter. Place three (3) columns of Scaredy-shrooms and strategically place Tile Turnips in the middle and then drop a plant food. This would activate all fifteen (15) Scaredy-shrooms and knock-back all zombies that survive back to the beginning of the lawn.

Bottom Line:
Scaredy-shroom is not going to impress anyone with its power. However with its low cost, Scaredy-shroom can work quite well in Sun-starved areas. As such, it is worth it to obtain and level up this plant.

Reward is 20 Scaredy-shroom
Players start with 1,625 Sun.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
