Fellowship of Guelphissauga: Townhall Attendance Games for 10% Proposed Tax Increase | Nov 2023

The Fellowship of Guelphissauga continues with the Townhall Attendance Games. From Peterborough to the Shire, the Big Blue Orc's broken promise has ransacked municipal budgets. He's left the Corporation of the Shire with a $227 million multi-year budget shortfall for the Council of Elders to clean up. Townhall meetings were booked in each of the Shire's wards as the Council competed in the Attendance Games. But the Mayor wanted to increase taxes by 10% to fill the gap and also boot the homeless people out of town with a new bylaw. Meanwhile, Mike of the Schreiners monitored Climate Change as the Parking Wars loomed on the horizon. Can Carly of Klassen and the Elder Elves do anything about the Housing Cost Crisis and will the Big Blue Orc ever “make them whole”?
