‘A no brainer’: Temporary visas granted to Palestinians in Gaza

Sky News contributor Joe Hildebrand says the issuing of temporary visas to Palestinians in Australia is a “no brainer”.

Up to 860 temporary visas have been granted to Palestinians with connections to Australia.

“We accept people from warzones whose lives are in danger regardless of which side they are on,” he said.

“We take humanitarian people with no connection to Australia whatsoever the important thing is that they’re screened at the country of origin.

“That is what you want.”
