Teens that beat 17 year old Jonathan Lewis to death appear in Clark Co. District Court

Dontral Beaver, 16, Damien Hernandez, 17, Gianni Robinson, 17 & Treavion Randolph, 16 are being charged with 2nd degree murder.

The teens were formally charged as adults after they beat 17 year old Jonathan Lewis to death in an alley near their school.

Lewis was allegedly killed by the teens while defending his smaller friend who had his headphones and vape stolen.

"That family was shattered, and all the other families and their lives have been shattered as well," said Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson.

"At the end of the day, I believe there have to be consequences."
