How malleable is wider society?

How quick is wider society to suspend critical thinking and logic based on the "official narrative" of the government through mainstream media outlets? Are we conditioned by the establishment to seek external validation as a norm without question? It starts from school, where we're reduced to fit in.

As children, we're encouraged ("Educated") to follow a template, by adopting the curriculum that leads to gainful employment for those who comply and don't disrupt. The process that has you questioning your own ability starts with the socalled education we receive in school.

We're taught to raise our hands and wait, today a teacher can tell a girl that a boy is a girl and that she must be quiet or face punishment if she objects to him wanting to use her toilet or changing room but is this factual or is the young Lady being reduced to fit into the new official narrative?

The more we investigate the "official narrative", the more questions we'll be left with as a by-product. So is the official narrative just there to socially engineer citizens within society and if so, for what purposes?

#QED Question Everything Done is the standard for critical thinkers. There is an African proverb that says "The child who questions will never be fooled". A wise man would heed that proverb and apply it to every situation he is presented with as blind trust is for the naive, better identified as victims.

In the age of knowledge, we're obligated to undertake radical self accountability as blaming third parties won't absolve us of our complicity. As many stories as we tell ourselves, it's us and us alone who will live with the consequences of our lack of good judgement.
