DAN PROFT COUNTERCULTURE: Are words too offensive for "sensitive readers" or too hateful? Too violent? What happens when everything we are reading is censored by the source. Worse - what happens when the narrative is changed to be benign and complicit with the opinions of the Left.

EP 14: Dan Proft interviews Lionel Shriver who doesn't mince her words--she reviles so-called "sensitivity readers"--which is at least part of the reason she does produce wonderfully compelling novels, including "We Need to Talk About Kevin," which you may remember was optioned in a film starring Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly and, most recently, "Should We Stay or Should We Go" and "The Motion of the Body Through Space." We'll also tackle the plot of her forthcoming novel "Manic" and the social commentary she intends around the fictional--for now--Mental Parity movement featured in the story.
