Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom faces numerous hurdles to success, but hiding Amber Heard is one of the smartest decisions they could make. Her character was only briefly alluded to in the first trailer, but was completely absent in the second. If this film does little more than tread water at the box office (lol), consider that a success.

Is it possible that it makes more than The Marvels? By minimizing the least likable aspects of the film, it's doing much better marketing than the biggest MCU flop in history did! So it's got a chance...
