A baby owl which captured the hearts of the nation when she was pictured with leg splints is facing a fresh medical fight - after developing painful sores.
Six-month-old Turkmenian Eagle owl Boo Boo was born with a serious growth disorder that caused deformities to her legs.
She started having problems with her legs at four weeks old, and has got by up to now by wearing leg splints which help her walk.
