In Episode 16 of “Why Do You Believe That?” Pastor Tom Hughes and Don Stewart talk about the passage (Luke 16:19-31) about Lazarus and the rich man. The questions that are answered are:

- Is this an account of an actual event or a parable? How do we know?
- Does this teach that OT saints are in a holding place now? Or were until Jesus resurrected?
- Many have connected this passage with others and say that Jesus descended into hell and build all types of erroneous beliefs
- One of those is Ephesians 4:8-10 which says in part that He led captivity captive… that he also descended first into the lower parts of
the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things
