China is hosting a delegation of foreign ministers from the Palestinian Authority, Indonesia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the organisation of Islamic Cooperation aimed at finding a solution to end Israel's offensive in the Gaza Strip. Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi said that "the world must act urgently to stem the conflict." Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud said that the kingdom seeks more cooperation from China to work towards ending this crisis as quickly as possible.
