POV: Everyone burns their crust! Don't be like them! Make the most delicious golden brown crust ever!
And what do you do with that extra pie crust?! Bake it with butter, cinnamon, and sugar and Viola! you have another yummy dessert!

Cherry Pie Crust Recipe:
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
14 Tablespoons unsalted butter
about 4 Tablespoons of ice water

Cherry Pie Filling Recipe: (double the recipe for thicker filling)
2 cups cherries (drained)
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 Tablespoon unsalted butter on top

*Bake @ 425 for 30 minutes (take off foil last 10 minutes)

Cinnamon/Sugar Pie Bark:
softened butter
sprinkled sugar
sprinkled cinnamon
Bake @ 425 for 5-10 minutes
