Today we continue our book club series on the ancient wisdom of the Book of Sirach, also known as Ecclesiasticus. Composed around 200 BCE, this text contains heavy teachings from the ancient sage Yeshua ben Sira for the early Jewish faith.

In our previous episodes, we covered chapters 1 through 10, where ben Sira dropped knowledge on topics like moderation, sin, pride, justice and friendship. Now we find ourselves in Part 3, breaking down chapters 11 and 12. These passages provide guidance on wealth, business ethics, generosity, and managing finances responsibly.
