It’s a logical fallacy to say a person’s arguments are all bad simply because they are a bad person, but that’s precisely how cancel culture is destroying productive debate, says Greg Lukianoff.

He’s the president of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) and co-author of “The Canceling of the American Mind.”

“One in six professors say they've even been threatened with investigation or actually investigated,” Lukianoff says, according to a FIRE survey.
