November, November .. time to dig up those lovely cannas .. and why not throw a few in the pot, while we're at it? This week's Hearty Harvest Soup is made with about 2 1/2 lbs of pumpkin, 1 lb of bacon, a lb of onion, and another 1/1/2 lb of canna root, peeled .. seasoned with celery salt, black pepper, and garlic!
