How to Boil Water "Cook A Complete Chicken Dinner" 90's Food Network TV Show

This is a show called, "How to Boil Water" from the Food Network (FoodTV). They're still making new episodes somehow (IMDB has no end date https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0783347/ ). Our friends in this video were Cathy Lowe and Sean Donnellan. Sean is apparently a real actor. So congrats on parlaying this amusing cooking show into a hollywood acting career. Plus he had a very 1990's shirt.

My man Sean wearing the most 90's shirt he could find. For some reason Cathy has to stand 20 feet away from Sean at all times (or passionate making out would happen). They give some pretty good advice for cooking chicken, like letting it thaw first so it cooks all the way through. And removing the plastic bag of nubbins. One Thanksgiving my aunt forgot to remove the bag of nubbins so everyone just had to eat the outside of the meat. Not me though, I don't eat birds.

This is weird though, she stays across the room most of the episode. Like it would be awkward to film the episode with the actors so far apart. I wonder if someone sent a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) and complained about the hosts playing footsies with each? *special guest appearance by Curtis Aikens (Meals Without Meat): http://www.curtisaikens.net/ I'm sure he's in some of the thousands of VHS tapes I've got to digitize...So not only do we get a blossoming romance with Sean and Cathy, but a bromance with Curtis. This is turning into a buddy cop movie before our eyes.

They end up making some gravy and finally use the power of teamwork, and a little flirting to finish the meal. You've got a chicken, mashed potatoes, and gravy made by our How To Boil Water friends. I Hope you enjoyed this fun 90's cooking show. Any weird jump cuts were from the original VHS recording.
