It looks like the effort by House Republican leaders to slow walk an impeachment of President Joe Biden is over. House Speaker Mike Johnson has given the green light to start the process and committee chairmen are issuing subpoenas, starting with Hunter Biden’s business allies.

The Senate wasted no time in approving the House budget plan late last night. It will push off the important votes until January and let lawmakers begin their Thanksgiving vacation.

Concerns about America’s crime wave have hit a 22-year high, according to Gallup pollsters. Sixty-three percent said crime is out of control and 28 percent said that they have been victimized in the crime spree.

And the Israel-Hamas war continues to roil Washington. Last night, police clashed with pro-Palestine protesters at Democratic headquarters. Six officers were hurt as party leaders hid inside the building on Capitol Hill.
