Israel “Uncovers” Hamas Tunnel, “Recovers” Hostage’s Body In Gaza | US Denies Sharing Al-Shifa Intel
The Israeli military said on November 16 that it uncovered a Hamas tunnel shaft and a vehicle with weapons at Gaza's Al-Shifa hospital complex. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) released videos and photographs of the tunnel shaft and weapons, but these claims haven’t been independently verified.
The IDF also said it had recovered the body of Yehudit Weiss, a 65-year-old woman taken hostage by Hamas, near Al-Shifa.
Meanwhile, the US said it would not share any details on the intelligence it claims to have around Hamas's alleged use of the Al-Shifa hospital. The US backed the IDF’s claim that Hamas ran its military operations from Al-Shifa, which Hamas dismisses as “blatant lies.”
