For heat pumps, see this very well done video by Matt Ferrell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3jIRRzF6d0

Note: Geothermal, Rocket Mass Heater and Earthships could be HOUR long episodes on their own. I mention them here to bring them to people's attention, and hopefully in the future I can do a deep dive on these, and do it in a proper manner. For now, I just wanted to expose people to these ideas, and I will also point you to...

The best Rocket Mass Heater build video that I have ever seen is on Suburban Biology's channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbdeZKzlV8E. He also has a huge water tank build which is crazy!

For earthships, there are many great videos on youtube on these builds. I find Kirsten Dirksen channel does a good job on quite a few of them, and her channel is pure awesomeness also. https://www.youtube.com/@kirstendirksen
