Susan Stanfield. Canadian Exiled in the UK.

In February 2011 during the five Arab uprisings my husband was kidnapped by Muammar Gaddafi police. He witnessed a mass murder while waiting in his luxury hotel suite the night before he was scheduled to be flown out of Tripoli as it descended into a 9-month bloody civil revolution. I was pregnant in Vancouver. My journey to locate and help rescue him from a secret prison transformed me into the mother I am today. I learned that we are the ones who create justice for ourselves and speaking truth to power is the most terrifying and liberating act we will ever commit.

Susan grew up in Shawnessy, a suburb of Vancouver, BC.
She became famous in my eyes, April 2020 when she felt the need to lead the NO MORE LOCKDOWNS march in Vancouver.
To many, she was the spark that was needed to see another that thinks like we do and we are not alone.
She comes from a background in TV production and a Queens University graduate.
After a number of arrests for living her life, her husband and children quietly packed up all they could and left for slightly less tyrannical, UK.
She has written BETRAYED, The TEN, UPRISING and working on a few series concepts.
