First, we are going to briefly talk about the differences between a pre-qualification letter and a pre-approval letter. I’m going to also stress the importance of you knowing your numbers, and working with a good mortgage banker or broker. At then end of our meeting, I will give you some recommendations of who you may want to speak with.

Second, we are going to talk about the part of town you will be looking at, and from there, what is the furthest North, South, East and West would you potentially like to go. This is to give me an idea of your boundaries.

Third, we are going to talk about your “must-haves” vs your “wish list”. For example, I must have 4 bedrooms, but would really like 5 bedrooms. Another wish list item may be that you want the home to have a pool, but it’s not a requirement.

Fourth, we are going to talk about the process from A-Z, which is you getting an approval letter all the way to the closing table, and even a few things you can do after closing.

And then fifth, we will go over our Buyer Representation Agreement and supporting documents.
