Crews of the Buk missile systems of the anti-aircraft missile units of the combined arms formation of the Vostok group of troops continue to effectively carry out the tasks of covering troops from enemy air attacks in the South Donetsk direction. Anti-aircraft gunners of the Eastern Military District have learned not only to successfully combat enemy unmanned aircraft, which is most important on the battlefield, but also to shoot down foreign-made high-precision guided missiles.

The list of targets hit includes American Harm anti-radar missiles, British Alarm missiles, HIMARS missiles, and all types of high-altitude drones in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In less than a month of combat duty in this direction, only one anti-aircraft battery has successfully hit more than 70 targets.
