I was so inspired by my first homemade sauerkraut recipe. I decided to go for it and make my own sauerkraut recipe that has my #cultural cooking twist of #flava. I named it my Islander Sauerkraut. Oh the smellllll😋

Hi Rumble neighborhood,

This is PT2 Making my own creation I am calling "Islander" sauerkraut, of my beginners endeavors of making our own #sauerkraut. I will be using a different cabbage and ingredients for this recipe too. But I thought why not while I am learning how to ferment and make my own traditional recipe, why not go for it and see if I could create my own. So this recipe is an inspiration of my cultural cooking from my mothers side, who was also the one who started teaching me how to cook. It does resemble a Slavic recipe but don't think they taste the same. Can't say I have never tasted Slavic Sauerkraut but comment below if you think I should. Not to be a spoiler all I want to say is, you may want to check out the taste test results at the end. As well as the video I made that this sauerkraut inspired me to create. Push play, push play, you want to add this one to your gotta try it list.😋
