A Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Washington County
The Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Washington County is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. This huge meal is an opportunity for people, who would otherwise be alone for Thanksgiving, to share food with others and form a sense of community and friendship. Joining us to discuss this special event, and how you can get involved, is the founder of the Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Mary Kay von Brendel. The Community Thanksgiving Dinner takes place on Thursday, November 23 (Thanksgiving) from 11am to 1pm. These meals take place at three locations in Washington County: St. Mary's in West Bend, New Hope UCC Church in Jackson, and Faith Lutheran Church in Germantown. For more information, check out the Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Facebook.
