Hyena's brutality in preying on its victims

Hyenas are brutal scavengers that eat all their prey, leaving only the bones. Unlike other predators, hyenas eat their prey while they are still alive. Hyenas eat these young deer while they are still alive Lions and other big cats, for example, usually strangle their prey by attacking the throat, crushing or cutting the throat, or breaking the prey's neck. This makes the prey physically exhausted, thereby reducing the amount of energy that must be expended and also the risk of being injured by struggling prey. However, this is not how hyenas deal with their prey, they do not have much patience to see their prey physically exhausted first before scavenging. Hyenas will usually tear open their stomachs and immediately remove the intestines of their prey. Every vital organ, from the muscles to the legs is eaten away, and due to the loss of these vital organs and blood, the prey eventually dies.
