Palestinian translator and interpreter Basma Ghalayini says the events of 7 October “only escalated Israel’s already-established ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians” during an interview on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

She says Israel never withdrew completely from Gaza which remained occupied.
