Ingredients:
- 500g chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 4 tbsp oil
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Marinate the chicken in yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

2. Heat oil in a handi or a deep, heavy-bottomed pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate.

4. Add the marinated chicken along with the marinade. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender and the masala is well-cooked.

5. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom. If needed, add a little water.

6. Once the chicken is cooked, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

7. Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
