Surfing in Taiwan?! 🇹🇼 | Solo Travel | Yilan Travel Vlog (Ep. 11)

Did you know that people go surfing in Taiwan? I had no idea until today. I met a man who picked me up in his car and we took a trip to Yilan. We arrived at Wushi Harbor where I was able to watch him, and many other people do a bit of surfing.

We arrived on a chilly and cloudy day. I certainly wish that the weather was better. We were going to go surfing a few days in the future, but had to reschedule due to an approaching Typhoon. Unfortunately, the clouds were already coming do due to the typhoon.

After my friend finished surfing, we dried off and then went to a coffee shop to warm up.

After coffee, we went to have a nice dinner at a local restaurant in Yilan. We had some type pot pie with steak and vegetables. It was pretty good!

After finishing dinner, we had to drive all the way back to Hsinchu.
