The Likeness of God

Unbeknownst to us, Adam and Eve lost, for all of mankind, the likeness of God when they fell to sin in the Garden of Eden.

Meaning that the nature of their characters no longer existed in a state of perfect harmony and unity as one eye full of light with no darkness at all, because their sin acted as a type of prism to refract their white light of innocence into their color-wheel spectrum of sin.

Our born-again experience in Christ has been designed to restore back into us the original likeness of God that Adam and Eve had lost.
