DID METRO JUST FIRED MY LOCAL MEAT BUTCHER TO HELP COVER UP FACTS ABOUT DIETARY FATS??

For simply trying to sell me a kilo of Beef Fat which was destined for discarding, did he got fired because of it?

I thought i finally found a local meat butcher who will sell me a kilo of Beef fats on a weekly basis. Richard, my local butcher who look a little bit on the senior side / a homegrown traditionally conservative All Canadian Man, agreed with me yesterday that he will put together a kilo of Beef Fat in a package which he will otherwise throw away, and yesterday he asked me to come back today as he will have it ready for me.

I remembered him saying, "see you tomorrow Joe!"
I came in to see him today and he was not there,
my simple request to purchase a kilo of Beef fat caused so much commotion, with the big boss coming down to the meat department to deal with me and sanctimoniously gave me a sermon how this is the first and last time they will ever sell me a package of beef fat!

DID THEY FIRE MY LOCAL BUTCHER FOR TRYING TO SELL ME MY REQUEST FOR A KILO OF FATS? WHY?
