MKUltra Mind Control Assassins

Project Artichoke was a secret CIA project established in the early 1950s with the aim of exploring the possibility of mind control and manipulation. This project later evolved into Project MKUltra. One of the objectives of the project was to investigate the possibility of manipulating individuals to carry out acts of attempted assassination against their will.

A memorandum from January 1952 raised the question of whether it was possible to exert such control over an individual that they would act against their own self-preservation and violate fundamental laws of nature, solely to fulfill the commands of the project.Project Artichoke, succeeded by Project MKUltra, was created to determine whether a person could be involuntarily made to perform an act of attempted assassination.
