A Czech television crew was robbed at gunpoint while covering the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in San Francisco. The crew was recording near the City Lights bookstore when three masked assailants approached them with guns. The assailants made off with the crew's production equipment, which was valued at approximately $18,000.
