WB Games Goes Hard For Live Services (Brilliant Move Or Disastrous Consequences?)

In a move that is not all that surprising given the success of Fortnite and the subsequent shift of the industry towards live service games, WB has indicated they want to move their games in this direction as well.

While this may appear to be a smart business decision to base their IPs in short turnaround content that keeps people coming back for more, it could spell disaster as the company pivots away from the tried and true storytelling they've become so well known for.
