A parrot left heartbroken after being taken into a rescue has found the perfect way to cheer itself up - swinging from a volunteer's hair. Amusing footage shows playful Snowball squawking in delight as it clutches strands of Erica Collins’s ponytail. The white Goffin’s cockatoo was taken in by Rhode Island Parrot Rescue after its owner was forced to give it up because her health was declining.

Exotic birds are so intelligent that they mourn the loss of people they are close to. After a period of sadness, now the resourceful parrot has worked out a way to cheer itself up - by using Erica’s hair as a rope swing. The parrot hangs upside down as Erica shakes her head from side to side. This goofy Snowball keeps up the act for over a minute while amused visitors watch in in this funny video clip. Luckily, he just swings and he doesn’t make an attempt to bite Erica’s bum. He is having a great time and doesn’t want to stop the activity. It is a hilarious moment and everyone is amused at how playful he is. He is behaving like a little kid.

The cockatoo is squawking with joy like never before, all thanks to his fun swinging activity where he latches onto Erica's hair with his claws like a rope swing, and lets his body hang upside down to enjoy the ride. Snowball's hands upside down in the aerodynamic fun, with his beak lose as he's propelled left and right.

Let’s hope that Snowball will find a forever home soon.
