Test Driving JConcepts' NEW Regulator Chassis & Axles With Their 1970 USA-1 Body. BEST RETRO MT IMHO

It'll be a sad day when I box this up and send it back to JConcepts, but it will be an awesome day when I order up the parts to replicate it for myself. I've decided not to open the axles in case they have any tricks in there that are race mods, but I'll do my best to replicate what I can. What a fun retro this is and the axle definitely are a nice touch and seem to take the truck to the next level. It turns so well for not being 4-steer. The whole build is top quality.

I did break the light bar (sorry Fred) and then my son was doing some straight runs for me to film for the slow motion footage and accidentally went over backward and broke the rest of the roll bar. It's been cold and rainy here for the past week and there is more of the same in the forecast, so I decided to record today, so I can get ready to shoot their BAJR V2 truck with Hawk and Animal tires on Tremor wheels. The cold most likely played into the break of the 3D printed roll bar.

If you ask me, I think we'll start seeing a lot more of these axles in the retro class very soon.
