Solving the equity problem isn’t simple.

There’s cultural stigmas, societal issues and general biases that all hinder a woman’s career.

To truly move forward and to achieve true equity, the first step is realizing that the problem won’t be a simple one and a true solution will be multi-faceted and must be something firstly understood and accepted, and then championed by all stakeholders within organizations.

The answer won’t come from simply hiring more women if we don’t give them the support, pathways and opportunities to grow and succeed.
