In the co main event at BKFC 53 Julian ‘Let Me Bang’ Lane, (5-7), stopped Murat Kazgan, (1-1) in a welterweight clash. The fight ended when the ringside physician stopped the bout in the third round (1:53) due to a bad cut over Kazgan’s right eye.

Murat told #bareknucklenews that despite the cut, he believes he was the winner of the fight, having won all three rounds. He acknowledges the importance of the injury, as doctors advised him to stop the fight, but he still feels he deserves a rematch.

Saying: It's a big, big stitch. And doctors said it's a very deep. They say it has to be stopped. But, you know, I'm the winner of this fight and everybody knows this. I win all the three rounds. And. But this fight is fight. You know, it's happened. But I talk with Julian after the fight. He know I deserve a rematch and I want a rematch."

Kazgan says the fight did not go as he had expected but given another chance he is confident he could beat Julian.
