Coach Jerry Bomholt's Legendary 122 Zone Defense

Saturday morning (11/11/23) I made the drive from Bowling Green, OH, to Jay County HS, IN, to watch Indiana HS coaching legend, Jerry Bomholt, & his Jay Co. Patriots practice. It did my soul good to watch an IN HS basketball practice. Coach Bomholt's 122 zone defense is legendary in the great state of Indiana. Listening to Coach Bomholt teach his players his 'Zorro" zone was a surreal experience.
The most famous zone defenses in Indiana high school basketball, from my lifetime are Bill Green's match-up, Basil Mawbey's 23, & Jerry Bomholt's 122. (Listed in no certain order). Indiana coaches', chime in, did l leave someone out?
