2005 & 2020 Otis Gen2 MRL Traction Elevators at Ballantyne Village (Charlotte, NC)

This is a very strange setup of 2 different generations of Gen2. The older one has Standard Series 5 Fixtures and was installed in 2005. The other one has the modern Gen2 look with New Series 4 (MicroMotion3) fixtures and was installed in 2020, 15 years later after the other Gen2. I assume the older one is original and they added the other one much later for better traffic control.

Despite being different, they strangely share the same controller, which is very unusual. I don't have a preference for which one is better, they both ride perfectly fine.
