This Loop is Amazing!!!
Each section is completely different from the next. This is a must-do backpacking loop like nothing I've done before in Colorado.

The final day of our backpacking adventure begins with the overnight rain storm moving off and us waking up in a fog bank. We enjoyed our quick breakfast before packing up camp and heading out. We only had about 4 miles up the Wigwam Trail to reach the parking lot at the Lost Park Campground. It was a beautiful hike through a few grassy creek valleys. About halfway along the trip, we encountered two large bull moose grazing in one of the valleys. It was such a perfect ending to a spectacular trip in the Lost Creek Wilderness.
We completed about 4 miles with almost 400 ft in vertical climb back to the cars..
