Today’s beaver video is very cool. I was able to zoom in and get a pretty good view of this beaver’s teeth as it chewed through a small tree. This small tree is part of a large number of small trees growing out of one old stump. Some people complain that beavers fell trees, but in fact, by taking down trees, beavers can encourage reforestation. Most of the beavers’ favourite trees will coppice, meaning that if the tree is cut down to a stump, many new trees will grow from the# stump. #
