Israeli painting from ravaged kibbutz goes on display

A painting by Israeli artist Ziva Jelin salvaged from Kibbutz Be'eri is finding a new home at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. The artwork depicts the same road in Be’eri that was stormed by Hamas gunmen on Oct. 7, when they killed or kidnapped scores of residents that sparked the war in Gaza.
