How to Properly Remove Contaminated Gloves

There is simply no point in wearing protective gloves if you fail to remove them properly and safely otherwise one will simply contaminate others, objects in the laboratory and or yourself in the process.

Here is a basic method for the safe removal of contaminated or potentially contaminated gloves.
After removal it is ALWAYS a good practice to then wash your hands.

If you work in a laboratory and are not removing you gloves like shown then you are potentially contaminating your place of work, yourself and possibly other colleagues with sloppy laboratory safety practices. During my career as a scientist, the amount of people I saw who had no idea of how to remove safety gloves was astronomical and then they wondered why isotopes were contaminating everything in the lab. Don't be a "lab loser" Do it right the first time!
