Netanyahu Says Israeli Military Operating in Heart of Gaza City, Seeks Security Control Over Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a press conference on Saturday that the Israeli army is operating in the heart of Gaza City.

“IDF forces have completed the encirclement of Gaza City, they are operating in the heart of the city, they are on the outskirts of Shifa Hospital,” he said.

Mr. Netanyahu reiterated that his aim for Israel is to take control of security in Gaza for an indefinite period.
