Storm Shield Morning Forecast Update 10/26/17

Unfortunately today looks to be the hottest day of this current trend, with a forecast high of 92 degrees in Bakersfield. If we hit that mark we will tie the heat record for today set back in 2003. With the heat comes haze, as air quality is once again unhealthy for sensitive groups. Our mountain friends can't escape the heat either, with highs in the upper 80s in the Kern River Valley and lower 80s in the south mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park.
