Veterans Day in Lancaster, Ohio
The Armistice of November 11th, 1918 was the armistice signed at Le Francport near Compiègne that ended fighting on land, sea, and air in World War I between the Entente and their last remaining opponent, Germany. The origins of the Veterans Day federal holiday traces back to World War I. It represents the time when all sides declared a truce, marking the end of warfare at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, 1918. It was the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Be thankful for the sacrifice of all our Veterans, we still have battles to fight today and we need special wisdom to fight against much more deceptive forces in the CCP. November 11th, 2023 Lancaster, Ohio mefoundation.world We at the Mordecai and Esther Foundation are thankful.
