Microgravity, often referred to as weightlessness or zero gravity, is the condition in which people or objects appear to be weightless. This occurs when an object is in free fall, experiencing the sensation of falling toward a massive body, such as Earth, but is also moving forward at a sufficient velocity to avoid collision with the surface. In this state, the gravitational forces acting on the object and its surroundings are nearly equal, resulting in a condition of apparent weightlessness.
