Esperanza by Tommy Tutalo (Libro Review Book Review)

Esperanza is the collection of three journals left behind by Gabriela which is read by her daughter Sarita after Gabriela’s untimely death. In the journals, it is the story of the horrific past of Gabriela, her journey to achieve the American Dream and then finally, finding her love Dante and discovering the truth about her roots and life. The title does go with the content of the book because Esperanza means Hope and this entire story is based on faith and hope. At the worst points, all that the characters have is hope. The language is easy, simple to read, and the writing style is beautiful with no errors at all; a beautiful, heart breaking and heart warming story, all at the same time. I loved reading the book so much! It took me time to read due to the heavy content at some points and the thickness, but I will cherish this story and book forever. Therefore, I recommend this book majorly to the avid readers and not the beginners in the reading world. Do read this book if you want to be emotionally moved!
