'Nearly 1.7 Million Afghan Refugees Forced Out Of Pakistan'.

Hundreds of thousands of Afghans have left Pakistan in recent weeks.

Its after Pakistan set October 31st as a deadline for illegal migrants to leave the country or face arrest as part of a new anti-migrant crackdown.

Its drawn widespread condemnation from human rights groups.

Activists say any forced deportation of Afghans will put them at a grave risk.

Around 10,000 Afghans are now crossing the border every day from Pakistan.

Aid agencies say people are sleeping in the open, without proper shelter, food or drinking water once they cross the border to their homelands.

Kayal Mohammad lived in the northwest Pakistani city of Peshawar for 17 years.

Khayal has five children and was deported to the Afghan border almost a week ago.

He wasnt allowed to take anything with him, so everything he and his family own remains in Pakistan.

The Taliban say they have committees working around the clock to help Afghans by distributing essential aid.

Years of drought, a fragile economy and the aftermath of decades of war have led to the internal displacement of millions of Afghans.
